Dr. Rohini Ghosh is independent public health consultant working on various projects on Maternal and Child Health, Interaction between Human Nutrition, Growth, Disease and Mortality, Public Health, Psychosocial health of women in India and abroad for approximately 14 years. She received her PhD from Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata. She has worked with Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Paris, Ben Gurion University, Israel, at IIT Kanpur, and Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). She worked on projects funded by Ministry of Planning India, WHO / UNICEF and Nestlé, the US Israel Bi National Science and the National Academy of Sciences/Institute of Medicine, CSIR and DST, IFMR Lead, CRY, Pathfinders International and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. She is involved in research design, programme management, team and budget management, monitoring and evaluation, planning and implementation of projects and intensive field work with regards to data collection, analysis and writing of publications and reports, published at National and International levels.
